Alexandra Nesterkina

 September - October 2021

Alexandra Nesterkina is a Russian artist. Graduated from the course «Contemporary Art» at the British Higher School of Art and Designin 2018 and The Institute of Contemporary Art in 2020. Since 2018 she has been taking part in exhibitions. Works in the genreof sculpture and object. Lives and works in Moscow. The artist uses natural materials - wood, stones, parts of animal origin, found objects, complementing them with tactile formsmade of clay or wax. The main themes of her art natural aesthetics, ruins, magic. The main plot of the works is the interaction of organic and inorganic principles, natural and artificial. All works have relative freedom of interpretation and surrealpotential.
Yanina Chernikh

Yanina Chernykh graduated from Tver art College (2010), Institute of Contemporary art (ICA, 2012, Moscow) until 2019-student of the Moscow school of photography and multimedia. A. Rodchenko. Solo exhibition of Yanina Chernykh ”the Spirit blows where it wants” was held in the gallery 25 Frame( Moscow) in 2018. Among the group projects: participation in the parallel program of IV and VI Moscow International Biennale of Young Art, exhibitions “Carefully, slippery floor“ (25 kadr gallery, Moscow, 2018), “Family archive” (Baden, Austria, 2018), "Crazy dairy. Cinema zine", (GROUND gallery, Moscow, 2018).

In 2013 Vasiliy graduated from Siberian State Aerospace University named after M.F. Reshetnev, in 2019 he graduates from The Rodchenko Art School in Moscow. In 2018 Vasiliy had personal exhibition “Augment Reflection” in The Rodchenko Art School, Moscow. Some of artist’s group exhibitions are “Cool collection” (Winzavod, Moscow, 2018); Astana Art Fest 2016: Human energy (Astana, 2016); “Experiment 1” (Center for cultural innovation “House of Scriabin”, Moscow, 2016); “Hopeless Weekend” (Gallery Co-Existence, St. Petersburg 2015); “Shumotron” (Museum of Contemporary Art “Erarta”, St. Petersburg, 2015). The artist lives and works in Moscow.
Liza Artamonova and Ilina Chervonnaya

Liza Artamonova / b. 1988 in Moscow. Graduated from the Moscow State University of Printing Arts (2012) and the Moscow Institute of Contemporary Art (2016), participated in the Exchange Program for artists at Goldsmiths University of London (2016). Works with site-specific installations, video, graphic arts and photo. Liza appeals to questions about border of privacy, escapist practices, neuroses and syndromes of post information society. Selected exhibitions include Something has gone wrong at Solyanka VPA, Moscow (2017); Between the lines at Grad Gallery, London (2016); Rituals of sincerity at Mayakovsky’s Centre of Art and Music, Saint Petersburg (2016); Horizons of Events, parallel program of the 6th Moscow Biennale (2015). Winner of the Brewhowse Art Prize 2016 in nomination “environment”. Ilina Сhervonnaya / b.1983 in Moscow. Graduated from the Moscow Institute of Contemporary Art (2016), participated in the Exchange Program for artists at Goldsmiths University of London (2016). Works with video, installations, sculpture and sound. The subject of current interest are constructed apoliticality and increased suggestibility, distortion and reinterpretation of perception, reproduction of memories, reconstruction of secondary reality. Selected exhibitions include Borderline conditions, MERES Multifunctional space, Nicosia (2017), Something has gone wrong at Solyanka VPA, Moscow (2017); Between the lines at Grad Gallery, London (2016); Rituals of sincerity at Mayakovsky’s Centre of Art and Music, Saint Petersburg (2016); Horizons of Events, parallel program of the 6th Moscow Biennale (2015). Ulyana Podkorytova

Ulyana Podkorytova is an artist from Russia working with video art and painting. A graduate of the Rodchenko School of Photography and Multimedia, she was nominated for the national Innovation Prize for contemporary art, for her project "Oblique". Podkorytova is the inaugural participant in the Gogova Foundation Artist Residency in Baku. On July 18, 2017, she will present a solo project INVENTIO at Gogova Foundation exhibition space in the center of Baku’s Old City. Ulyana lives and works in Moscow.
Vladimir Abikh

Vladimir Abikh is a contemporary artist from Russia, working at the junction of various media and trends: street art, intervention, installation, video, photography. Graduated from PRO ARTE Foundation, an educational program "School of a Young Artist" and a Siberian Film Campus, specializing in a feature film director. Three-time nominee of Kuryokhin Contemporary Art Award in the category "Best Public Art". The winner of the international portrait contest "Portrait now!" for the project ”Street Mud”. From 2011 to 2016 the member of the art group "Zlye” (“Evil"). Member of the main programs of the Ural Industrial Biennial of Contemporary Art, The Krasnoyarsk Museum Biennale and Artmossphere Moscow Street Art Biennale. The second participant at the Gogova Foundation Artist Residency in Baku. On October 5, 2017, Vladimir Abikh presented a solo project at Gogova Foundation exhibition space in the center of Baku’s Old City. Lives and works in Moscow.
